Hello from France :)

Sorry to speak english, I have (more or less) understood that it was ok here.
Well, hello, I'm french and making games with rpg maker since about 2008 (mostly RM2003). I'm into drawing, spriting, making music (real instruments or on pc) translating or voicing.

I just finished tranlating a french RMXP game that our forum made as a team project (you know, someone starts the project, then another does the next map with his own ideas... you must have known that as well around here I guess? :) ), and I thought it would be interesting to share it to german community as well (already trying to promote it on english forums).

I don't speak german sorry (I've been taught at school a bit, but last time was 15 years ago, and I've never really been a fan mostly because of the teacher :D ).

Bienvenu o/

Be wellcommend here.
I think it should be okay to only write English. At least there is Google Translator for those, who don't understand xD

The project sounds nice. I'll give it a try someday : D

German is difficult to learn. But french also :D
Had it in school for 4 years, but that's also a few years ago... I don't think I could write a whole sentence xD

    Spoiler: C vs. C++

In C, you merely shoot yourself in the foot.

In C++, you accidentally create a dozen instances of yourself and shoot them all in the foot. Providing emergency medical care is impossible, because you can't tell which are bitwise copies and which are just pointing at others and saying, "That's me, over there."

Thank you. Yeah, learning french must be hell. xD
Your sentence is perfectly right. (and very warm-hearted too!)

Salve sriden,
we could choose between french and latin at school, so I choose
latin, thinking it would be the easier language to learn because I'am a noob
in languages^^.The only sentence in french that i can say is this famous
equivocal one, to "flirt" with somebody.

Hope you can understand some threads with google translator^^.
We have many interesting things here, from resources to scripts, games and nice tutorials.
Just look around.

If I find some time, I will have a look at your project.
Until then I am looking forward to see some new posts from you.

And yes, it seems that german is very difficult to learn for the most people^^

Thanks. I try to use my instinct (and words that I can recognize, more or less) rather than google translator. :D

I've had a year of french in school, but while my pronounciation of words was great - according to my teacher - the understanding of your language was sadly very poor and there are few things I recall these days from my lessons ^^'
But at least there is the english language that helps us to communicate =D
Welcome in the Studio. ♥

Your community project sounds fun =) Mind sharing what the community is? One of my friends from a english RPG Maker community also frequents a lot of the french ones, so I may or may not have heard of it Xb
And in any case, after we lost so many communities and sites last year, I'm always happy to hear about those that are still out there and having fun =D
Ich habe meinen Usernamen bewusst so geschrieben wie ihr ihn seht. Also bitte, schreibt das Y nicht groß sondern klein. Danke =D

Oh yeah? :/

I guess you won't know the french forum where the game has been made, it's a small forum I created and with only a few reguler members (and logically most of them were the participants in the project): FAMAS :: Faction armée des makers assoiffés de sang
But we are somehow linked to a much bigger french community that you may know, Oniromancie.

Welcome to our small community!
I took Latin in school and I don't really know a single word in french so I'll stick to english for the time being. ^^
Your project sounds interesting. We actually had something similiar here, but afaik it never got really finished (please correct me if I'm wrong).

My question would be, what is you favourite Maker?
People have allot fo different opinions on that matter and it would be interesting to hear another one :P

I'll end this with the only thing I know in french

xD
Thanks for the welcome.

Favourite one for me is 2003, that's the main one I used for my own projects. I like to mess around with the events, trying things and systems that were not really planned by the default soft, and the (kind of) snes-like native resolution. But we used XP for this project to appeal to more members of our forum.

Yeah, as soon as it's getting important it's more and more difficult to have the game being completed. As the coordinator of the project, I had a huge task trying to motivate (or catch :D) participants to prevent the project from dying (people easily giving up, or forgetting) and at the end to tie up all the game and story together (with all the necessary graphics etc).
Very rare to have this kind of project being completed actually.

Salut

Je m'appelle Cryztal.

Ah well. I guess that was all I can remember. Have a good time here mate and feel free to share your stuff and use what you like. But keep an eye on the credits ^^

If i remember correctly there should be a few developers that use English as their main language in projects here. Just have a look. ;)
